Believe it or not – the mid-term exam is just around the corner. You will be getting the study guide below printed out on mardi le 6 déc (B Day) & mercredi le 7 déc (A Day). I will be explaining this guide in full detail on jeudi le 8 déc (B Day) and vendredi le 9 déc (A Day). Please take a good look over the study guide when you receive it on Tuesday or Wednesday and take note of anything that you need to ask me about on Thursday or Friday in class.

I have made some study sets on Quizlet using the same questions that are on the mid-term exam. Practice these sets & you will be super prepared. You can find them at this link: French JOHS Mme Worsham or you can search Quizlet for frenchjohsmmeworsham. I have set up all of my classes there, so please join your class. I will be making more Quizlet study sets throughout the year, and you can make some too!

There will be 10 multiple choice questions about the topics from the two Powerpoints about your online research topics, including The Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Napoleon Bonaparte, Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, The Louvre, The Catacombs, and Zinedine Zidane. ESSAY

You will have to write a paragraph about yourself IN FRENCH. You will need to:

  • say your name (Je m’appelle…)
  • give your age (J’ai # ans.)
  • give your hair color (J’ai les cheveux…)
  • give your eye color (J’ai les yeux…)
  • describe your personality with 3 adjectives (Je suis…)
  • tell 3 activities you like to do AND where you do EACH activity (paragraph from Ch 2 Test)

And, yes, you CAN use your notes, old worksheets, quizzes & tests on the mid-term. However, you CANNOT use anything you have printed out yourself from anywhere else.

You will also not be allowed to have your phone on your desk, in your lap, or in your hands during the exam. Nor will you be allowed to wear headphones and listen to music.
